Today has been a big day. James went in for tonsils out surgery and I found out that when drugged, he sings very loudly about his beautiful wife (thanks dear) and the number of toes he thinks he has. Much of the day has been spent aiding him in his recovery, which requires popsicle slushies, constant water with bendy straws and lots of communicating via notes and hand signals. (image here)
Finding an image for this post reminded me of the Association of Medical Illustrators site which is basically a bit resource for those interested in a career in that field. Definitely some talented artists!
I also received the fantastic news that I have been accepted to Craft lake City, which is the 2nd annual alternative arts and crafts festival for SLC. Last year had over 3,500 attendees and this year's 130 artists were selected from almost 300 applicants. I'll be working hard the next two months getting everything ready. My main question at the moment is how much stuff to make. I'll be browsing other blogs for an answer, but I imagine it's somewhat subjective.
