I hope everyone had a memorable Halloween! Ours started out with a trick, my car window was egged about three weeks ago and then two nights ago it was completely shattered with a rock (see the tiny, but destructive culprit on the ground above.) I hope both were random acts of vandalism because I'd be sad to know that someone really disliked me enough to throw rocks. We'll be fixing up the car tomorrow morning, thanks to a successful hunt for a replacement window at the junkyard today.
On the treat side of All Hallows Eve, we had a great time last night at a party hosted by some of our friends. Everyone had terrific costumes (except our last minute attempts-I'm shamed and vow to spend more time on costumes next year.) My favorite were these three amigos all set for Dia de Los Muertos.
On another Halloween themed note, I bought some orange paint (not as orange as this picture, it's lighter and a bit burnt) quite awhile ago with the intention of painting our ceiling and I think it's about time to follow through with that project. I want to do a pattern out of this motif, hopefully it will turn out nicely!
