Beehive Bazaar with Native and Mineral + Matter

It's been a super busy month for me and this week has been extra busy getting ready for the Beehive Bazaar!  The show goes tonight until 10 pm and tomorrow from 10 am to 8 pm and I can tell you for sure that there are lots of vendors you won't want to miss!  I've got some goodies hidden away to purchase at the end of the show and I'm planning on doing a little shopping tomorrow before it ends as well.  Plus, there's new artists in the Mineral + Matter pop up, including half tone large format prints from Debbie Carlos, perfect for Mother's Day candles from Pure Palette and one for yourself in a fun scent like Birthday Cake or Breakfast at Tiffany's from William Reid Candle Co.  Don't forget about all the other artists that we are still carrying too!  My own shop, Native, has new reclaimed leather jewelry, more colors for the ceramic southwest line and new arrow combinations! 

 

 

Amanda Star Indian Princess Session

Last fall, I was contacted by Amanda Star about using my arrows for a photography shoot she had in mind with little girls as Indian Princesses.  It sounded adorable and I traded a set of the pastel mini arrows for these lovely photos.  Aren't the girls just darling?  The teepee looks like so much fun too, I'd love an adult size version for a romantic picnic!   You can see more her work here and if your in Central Florida, you can contact her for your portrait needs.  Thanks again, Amanda!

Pyramids

Saw this today in Pinterest and tracked it down as the album cover for Pyramids.  Kinda spacey, experimental music, not my favorite, but it's ok and I love the artwork.

Mineral and Matter + Native

Sea and Asters

Monica of Sea & Asters discovered her love of all things plant and nature related while studying horticulture, and she became enamored with Tillandsias. She began creating these miniature landscapes for her family and friends and enjoyed it so much that soon thereafter Sea & Asters followed.  Her hobbyist beekeeper husband also helps tend to their little Tillandsias garden.  When I received the terrarium kits in the mail earlier this week, I had so much fun putting them together that i was considering a career change myself!  They'll be at Mineral and Matter this weekend, but I won't be sad if they don't all find homes.  I have a couple spots in mind for them at my place!

Graphic Anthology

Gen Duncan is the designer behind Graphic Anthology, a line of cheery and inspirational prints with a touch of mid century aesthetic and accents of bold colors.  She's also recently expanded her line into home wares and I'll have her first run of tea towels on hand for you at Mineral and Matter!

Paulina Carcach

Paulina Carcach has been designing handbags and accessories for over 10 years now, inspired by her childhood in Mexico spent by her grandfather's side while he handmade pair after pair of cowboy boots.  I'll have her skinny belts and some braided bracelets for you at Mineral and Matter in several bright, eye catching colors!

Blackbird Tees

Jody and Karl are the amazing duo behind Blackbird Tees.  They work out of their small Seattle studio, printing Jody's original illustrations by hand onto soft, sweatshop free tees, pullovers and scarves.  I'm a huge fan of the My Moon, My Man shirt and the constellation scarves as so soft that you might never want to take them off!  I'll have mens and womens shirts at the Mineral and Matter pop up, starting tomorrow!  Come by early to make sure you get the one that's waiting for you!
